Between midnight and sunrise early Tuesday morning, isolated to scattered thunderstorms will gradually develop into parts of our area, generally from west-to-east. Although spotty instances of small hail cannot be ruled out, severe storms appear rather unlikely. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday. Tuesday morning into early afternoon, spotty thunderstorm activity will be possible almost anywhere in the area. A few storms with small hail up to around nickel size cannot be ruled out, but severe storms appear fairly unlikely. Later Tuesday afternoon into the evening, especially between 4 and 8 PM, there is a low chance that thunderstorms could develop within the far eastern and southeastern fringes of our area along a weak cold front, which would mainly affect counties such as Fillmore, Nuckolls, Thayer, Jewell and Mitchell. Should any storms manage to form within these counties, they could be severe, capable of producing large hail to at least quarter size and/or wind gusts around 60 MPH. However, please note that better chances for storms and possible severe weather should focus slightly east and southeast of our coverage area altogether. Following an area-wide break in thunderstorm chances between late Tuesday evening and Friday morning, various, off-and-on chances for storms return to our area between Friday afternoon and Sunday. && More information may be obtained at the following web page: https://www.weather.gov/hastings $$ Pfannkuch
