.DISCUSSION...Above normal temperatures will continue through next
week as high pressure builds across the west. A series of systems
will brush by the area resulting in daily rounds of isolated to
scattered showers and storms, favoring the higher terrain. Gusty
outflow winds appear more likely than wetting rain as conditions
remain dry in the low levels. Afternoon humidities will drop into
the single digit to teens most afternoons in the low elevations,
which may help dry out finer fuels.
