Regional Weather Summary for the High Plains

The overnight hours saw a few showers and storms move through the
Tri-State area with mostly cloudy skies for the rest of the
region. Temperatures as of one in the morning ranged from 65 in
Burlington, Colorado to 72 in Atwood, Kansas. Winds were calm or
from the northwest at 10 mph.

OUTLOOK... For today, a much cooler day is in store with highs in
the 70`s and 80`s with a mix of clouds and sun. There could be a
few showers and storms through the day. This afternoon and
evening, storms are forecast to start in Eastern Colorado and move
to the east across the region. Severe weather and heavy rainfall
will be possible with these storms. Tonight, storms will push off
to the east with a few isolated to scattered showers and storms
across the region. Lows are forecast to drop into the 50`s and
60`s. Tomorrow, another relatively cool day with highs in the 70`s
with partly to mostly cloudy skies. Storms will be possible again
during the afternoon and evening hours, mainly for Eastern
Colorado and neighboring areas.
