...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 645 PM MDT
FOR CENTRAL CHEYENNE COUNTY IN EAST CENTRAL COLORADO...

At 622 PM MDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 5 miles east of Cheyenne Wells to 7 miles northwest of
Chivington, moving southeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
         damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind
         damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Cheyenne Wells, Kit Carson, and Firstview.

This includes Highway 385 between mile markers 148 and 166.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
