...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 700 PM MDT
FOR CENTRAL KIT CARSON COUNTY...

At 629 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Bethune, or 7
miles east of Stratton, moving southeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated. At 0627 PM MDT, a 71 mph wind gust was
         reported 8 miles NNW of Bethune.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
         tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
         roofs, and outbuildings.

This severe storm will be near...
  Bethune around 635 PM MDT.
  Burlington around 645 PM MDT.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 70 in Colorado between mile markers 411 and 435.
 Highway 385 between mile markers 190 and 205, and near mile marker
211.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature`s leading
