Mostly cloudy skies and scattered showers prevailed across the
region this morning as temperatures were in the 60s.

The scattered showers will continue to move west to east this
morning and exit early this afternoon. A few thunderstorms are
possible among the showers. A brief break in the precip will occur
this afternoon before additional showers and storms develop late
this afternoon and continue into this evening. Strong, gusty winds
and small hail will be possible within any shower or storm during
this time. The showers and storms will come to an end by midnight
tonight.

Less humid conditions arrive from west to east today with highs in
the 70s. Cooler low temperatures are forecast tonight with values
ranging from the low to middle 50s.
