RUTHERFORD...NORTHEASTERN HENDERSON...POLK...EASTERN BUNCOMBE AND
SOUTH CENTRAL YANCEY COUNTIES THROUGH 745 PM EDT...

At 653 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 6
miles east of Downtown Asheville, or near Warren Wilson College,
moving southeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Downtown Asheville, Columbus, Marion, Rutherfordton, East Asheville,
Arden, West Asheville, Black Mountain, Fletcher, and Swannanoa.
