...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN HOUSTON COUNTY
THROUGH 645 PM CDT...

At 608 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10
miles northwest of Kennard, or 15 miles northeast of Crockett, moving
southeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Kennard and Weches.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for
southeastern Texas.
