...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHERN NEOSHO AND ALLEN
COUNTIES THROUGH 1000 PM CDT...

At 936 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Lone Elm to 7 miles east of Chanute. Movement
was east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Chanute, Iola, Humboldt, La Harpe, Gas, Moran, Savonburg, Elsmore,
Stark, Mildred, Bassett, Petrolia, Chanute Airport, and Iola Airport.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for
southeastern Kansas.
