  Coastal waters from Surf City to Cape Fear NC out 20 nm...
  Waters from Surf City to Cape Fear NC from 20 to 40 nm...

* Until 330 AM EDT.

* At 226 AM EDT, a cluster of strong thunderstorms were located over
  Dredge Wreck, moving northeast at 20 to 25 knots.

  HAZARD...Wind gusts to 40 knots, and frequent cloud to sea
           lightning.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
           suddenly higher waves.

* Locations impacted include...
  Dredge Wreck, 10 Mile Boxcars, W R 2, and School House Reef.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until these storms pass.
If caught on the open water, prepare for deteriorating conditions.
