...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN PENDER...
SOUTHEASTERN BLADEN...NORTHWESTERN BRUNSWICK AND NORTHEASTERN
COLUMBUS COUNTIES THROUGH 545 PM EDT...

At 504 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Lake Waccamaw, or 15 miles southeast of Whiteville, moving northeast
at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Lake Waccamaw, Northwest, Sandyfield, Freeman, Honey Island, Delco,
Riegelwood, Bolton, East Arcadia, and Sandy Creek.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
