...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN GEORGETOWN COUNTY
THROUGH 145 AM EDT...

At 115 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Lambert, or 16 miles west of Georgetown, moving east at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Lambert and Sampit.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature`s leading
killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to
be struck by lightning.
