.DISCUSSION...
Breezy south to southeast winds are expected to develop today with
gusts of 20 to 30 mph this afternoon and early evening. There is a
chance for showers and storms this morning, followed by a chance for
more storms, possibly strong to severe this afternoon and evening. A
cold front will move across the region tonight marking an end to the
precip chances. Winds will veer to the NW then north Saturday behind
the front ushering in a more dry air mass. RH values are expected to
mix down to around 35 to 45 percent across central and southeast
Illinois Saturday afternoon under sunny skies.
