NORTHWESTERN DE KALB...EASTERN LAGRANGE...SOUTHEASTERN ST. JOSEPH AND
BRANCH COUNTIES THROUGH 145 PM EDT...

At 113 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Sturgis to 8 miles east of Lagrange to
near Kendallville. Movement was northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Sturgis, Coldwater, Kendallville, Angola, Bronson, Fremont, Quincy,
Ray, Kinderhook, Fawn River, Batavia, California, Ashley, Burr Oak,
Gilead, Hudson, Orland, Clear Lake, Flint, and Lake Gauge.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 69 in Indiana between mile markers 340 and 357.
 Interstate 69 in Michigan between mile markers 1 and 17.
 Interstate 80 in Indiana between mile markers 120 and 152.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Persons in campgrounds should consider seeking sturdy shelter until
these storms pass.
