This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western and north
central Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Afternoon high temperatures climbing into the upper 90s are expected
today, with highs near 100 across southwest Nebraska. There will be
an increasing threat for heat related illnesses as temperatures climb
this afternoon.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Daily thunderstorm chances continue Thursday through the upcoming
weekend. A few severe thunderstorms are possible across far southwest
Nebraska Thursday with a greater threat across much of the area
Friday afternoon and evening. The threat for severe weather becomes
more uncertain for Saturday and beyond.
