High temperatures this afternoon were mostly in the low to mid 70s
across western and north central Nebraska. Portions of southwest
Nebraska reached into the upper 70s to lower 80s. Clouds cleared
out throughout the day. Winds became northerly behind a cold
frontal passage today, with winds around 15 to 20 miles per hour
with stronger gusts this afternoon.

Tonight, temperatures will cool into the 50s across the region
under clear skies. Winds will be calm, generally 5 to 10 miles per
hour, with variable direction. Around sunrise, winds will settle
into a southwesterly direction.
