...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN CHERRY COUNTY
THROUGH 845 PM CDT...

At 755 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 7 miles southwest of Lakeview to 9 miles south
of Kilgore to 8 miles west of Merritt Reservoir. Movement was east at
40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Valentine, Merritt Reservoir, Crookston, Wood Lake, Anderson Bridge
State Wildlife Management Area, Smith Falls State Park, Schlagel
Creek State Wildlife Management Area, Sparks, and Big Alkali Lake
State Wildlife Management Area.

This includes the following highways...
 Highway 20 between mile markers 177 and 222.
 Highway 97 between mile markers 113 and 141.
 Highway 83 between mile markers 187 and 222.
 Highway 12 between mile markers 1 and 22.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for
north central Nebraska.
