* WHERE...Pine Island Bayou near Sour Lake.
* WHEN...Until tomorrow evening.
* IMPACTS...At 25.0 feet, Water inundates roads in lowland areas
near the river. Low spots on Old Sour Lake Road are under water.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:45 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 25.3 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 9:45 PM CDT Wednesday was 25.4 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
tomorrow morning and continue falling to 20.3 feet Monday
evening.

and its tributaries begins, including Ashmore Road. Strothers
Crossing Road near Calcasieu and Price Crossing Road near Hineston
have several feet of water over them and subject to washouts.

* IMPACTS...At 27.0 feet, Widespread moderate lowland flooding will
occur. Homes in Deweyville closest to the river are flooded.
Flooding of homes in the Indian Lakes and River Oaks sections will
also occur. Low-lying roads and a few homes in Southwest
Beauregard Parish have some flooding.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:45 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 25.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 8:45 PM CDT Wednesday was 25.1 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 25.1
feet just after midnight tonight. It will then rise to 26.6
feet Monday evening. Additional rises are possible
thereafter.
