FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.

Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.SYNOPSIS...

Winds will be west to southwest today across the northern half of
the lake, while winds become northerly across the southern half
as a front drops through the area. Breezy northwest winds are then
expected Sunday between high pressure of 30.2 inches over the
Northern Plains and low pressure of 29.4 inches just east of James
Bay in Canada. Breezy northerly winds are likely Monday as the
high continues to build in from the west, with lighter winds
Monday night as the high moves overhead. Southerly winds are
expected to pick up a bit Tuesday on the back side of the high.

becoming southwest 10 to 20 kt late. Chance of showers through
mid morning, then chance of showers and slight chance of
thunderstorms this afternoon. Waves 1 to 3 ft.
.TONIGHT...Southwest winds 10 to 20 kt becoming west. Waves 1 to
2 ft.
.SUNDAY...West winds 10 to 20 kt increasing to 15 to 25 kt late
in the morning, then becoming northwest to 30 kt early in the
afternoon becoming north late. Waves 3 to 5 ft.
.SUNDAY NIGHT...North winds to 30 kt diminishing to 10 to 20 kt
overnight. Waves 3 to 5 ft.
.MONDAY...North winds 15 to 25 kt. Waves 3 to 5 ft.
.MONDAY NIGHT...North winds 10 to 20 kt becoming northeast 5 to
