...A SPECIAL MARINE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 400 AM CDT...

For the following areas...

  Nearshore Waters from Calumet Harbor to Michigan City...
  Open Waters from Wilmette Harbor to Michigan City out to Mid
  Lake...

At 249 AM CDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 19 nm east of Harrison-Dever Crib to near Marina
Shores at Dune Harbor, moving northeast at 45 knots.

HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
         suddenly higher waves.

Locations impacted include...
Burns Harbor and Marina Shores at Dune Harbor.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to safe harbor immediately as gusty winds and high waves are
expected.
