Hot and dry conditions will persist across the area through Thursday.
Afternoon temperatures today and Thursday will hover near 100 degrees.
Afternoon relative humidity will fall into the 20-25 percent today
and Thursday with moderate recovery expected tonight. Typical diurnal
winds will prevail with gusty northwest winds in the afternoon and
evening hours. The winds are expected to be a bit stronger Thursday
than today.
