Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum. .SYNOPSIS...The troughing over Lake Superior weakens to 29.6 inches by Friday as the broad parent low, currently at 29.3 inches just southwest of Hudson Bay, spins over southern James Bay. Weak troughing at 29.7 inches remains in place over Lake Superior Saturday before ridging near 30.0 inches shifts over Lake Superior late Sunday as high pressure moves into the Canadian Prairies. The ridge builds to 30.1 inches over Lake Superior Monday morning as the high moves overhead and gradually weakens to 30.0 inches by Tuesday afternoon.
