For waters beyond 5 nautical miles of shore on Lake Superior.

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A 29.3 inch low pressure over southeastern Manitoba is
bringing an associated 29.6 inch trough over western Lake Superior
early this evening. This trough continues across the rest of the
lake tonight into Saturday morning. In its wake, a 29.9 inch high
pressure builds northeast into the western Great Lakes region on
Saturday. The high then shifts toward the mouth of the St.
Lawrence River on Sunday as the next low pressure of around 29.4
inches lifts northeast into southern Wisconsin. This low deepens
to 29.3 inches as it tracks the Straits of Mackinac by Monday
morning and then into northern Quebec by Tuesday morning. In its
wake, a 30.2 inch high pressure builds over the Northern Plains on
Tuesday. This high pressure continues building to 30.3 inches by
Wednesday as it shifts into the Upper Great Lakes.

late. Scattered rain showers and a chance of thunderstorms by
late evening. Waves 7 to 10 feet occasionally to 13 feet
subsiding to 3 to 6 feet occasionally to 8 feet, then building to
4 to 7 feet occasionally to 9 feet.
.SATURDAY...Southwest winds 20 to 30 knots diminishing to 15 to
25 knots in the afternoon. A slight chance of showers and
thunderstorms by mid afternoon. Waves subsiding to 3 to 5 feet
occasionally to 7 feet.
.SATURDAY NIGHT...Southwest winds 10 to 20 knots diminishing to
5 to 15 knots after midnight, then backing northeast late. A
chance of rain showers and a slight chance of thunderstorms.
