.DISCUSSION...
A few light showers possible this morning, otherwise mostly dry
conditions with light east winds. Low clouds last through late
morning, then lift early this afternoon.

Widespread showers and thunderstorms are expected to move across
the area this afternoon and evening. Some storms will produce
locally heavy rainfall, which could result in instances of flash
flooding in urban areas. Additionally, a few storms could become
severe, with damaging wind gusts as the main threat. Winds become
southeast, then south this afternoon at around 10 knots.

Showers and thunderstorms dissipate overnight. Another round of
showers and storms is expected Thursday afternoon as a cold front
moves through the area. Dry conditions return Friday.
