...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of southeastern Collier
and south central Hendry Counties through 400 PM EDT...

At 330 PM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists were tracking
strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 7 miles southwest of
Hendry Correctional to 11 miles northeast of Copeland to near
Carnestown. Movement was northeast at 15 TO 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Hendry Correctional, Big Cypress National Preserve, Miles City, and
Sunniland.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

These winds can down small tree limbs and branches, and blow around
unsecured small objects. Seek shelter in a safe building until the
storm passes.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
