Southern Onslow County in eastern North Carolina... * Until 600 PM EDT. * At 520 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Silverdale to 7 miles north of Edgecomb, moving east at 20 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * Locations impacted include... Jacksonville, Morehead City, North Topsail Beach, New River Station, Pumpkin Center, Camp Lejeune Center, Piney Green, Swansboro, Hubert, Folkstone, Kellum, Midway Park, Verona, Dixon, Hammocks Beach, Onslow Beach, Sneads Ferry, Hammocks Beach State Park, Sea View Pier, and Holly Ridge.
