.DISCUSSION...
Light west-southwest winds this morning will become southeast
around 10 mph as the east coast sea breeze develops after 12 PM
and moves inland. Conditions are forecast to remain mostly dry
near the burn site today into tonight. Heat will continue to be a
concern today, with afternoon highs in the low 90s and minimum RH
values in the mid to upper 40s. Peak heat indices will near 100.
Afternoon smoke dispersion will be fair today.
Similar conditions are forecast on Monday, with dry conditions
and afternoon highs reaching the low 90s. Peak heat indices
nearing 100 yet again. Minimum RH values will remain in the mid
40s. Light west-southwest winds will become southeasterly around
10 mph as the sea breeze moves inland. Afternoon smoke dispersion
will improve slightly, becoming generally good near the burn site.
