904 FXUS64 KMOB 011748 AFDMOB Area Forecast Discussion National Weather Service Mobile AL 1247 PM CDT Sat Jun 1 2024 ...New AVIATION... .AVIATION... (18Z TAFS) Issued at 1247 PM CDT Sat Jun 1 2024 At issuance time, a mix of VFR and MVFR conditions are in place across the forecast area as showers and thunderstorms continue to develop across the region. This activity is expected to reduce in coverage and intensity throughout the afternoon and especially into the evening hours. As this occurs, VFR conditions should become prevalent through the evening hours. The next round of showers and storms look to develop during the morning hours tomorrow, possibly resulting in MVFR conditions once again (possibly lower in some of the heavier activity). Additionally, there is still a weak signal that some patchy fog may develop late tonight. At this time, the best confidence looks to remain away from the TAF sites and over interior portions of southeast Mississippi and southwest Alabama. /96 && .PRELIMINARY POINT TEMPS/POPS...
