...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN BRADLEY...
SOUTHWESTERN MEIGS AND NORTHEASTERN HAMILTON COUNTIES THROUGH 400 PM
EDT...

At 314 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles east of Soddy-Daisy, or 11 miles northwest of Cleveland, moving
northeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Birchwood, Big Spring, Hopewell, and Sale Creek.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM EDT for
east Tennessee.
