.DISCUSSION...
Idaho (Zones 102 and 103): High pressure will build over the region
through Friday, leading to warming temperatures and dry conditions.
Winds today will generally be light and terrain driven. A notable
increase in the winds is anticipated for Friday ahead of an approaching
weather system. There is a 50 to 60 percent chance of gusts over 30 mph
for the Camas Prairie and over the higher terrain.
Northwest MT (Zones 104 and 105): High pressure will build over the region
through Friday, leading to warming temperatures and dry conditions.
Winds today will generally be light and terrain driven. A notable
increase in the winds is anticipated for Friday ahead of an approaching
weather system. There is a 60 to 80 percent chance of gusts over 30 mph
for all but the lower valleys of the Kootenai NF.
West Central MT (Zones 106, 107 and 108): High pressure will build over
the region through Friday, leading to warming temperatures and dry
conditions. Winds today will generally be light and terrain driven. A
notable increase in the winds is anticipated for Friday ahead of an
approaching weather system. There is a 50 to 70 percent chance of gusts
over 30 mph.
Southwest MT (Zones 109, 110 and 111): High pressure will build over
the region through Friday, leading to warming temperatures and dry
conditions. Winds today will generally be light and terrain driven. A
notable increase in the winds is anticipated for Friday ahead of an
approaching weather system. There is a 60 to 80 percent chance of gusts
over 30 mph.
