...Discussion from SFOFWFMTR...

Increasing onshore flow will lead to better humidity retention and
cooler temperatures over the weekend. Afternoon minimum relative
humidity will range between 25% and 40% across interior sections
with areas closer to the coast experiencing minimum RH above 40%.
Overnight humidity recoveries are expected to increase across most
areas with the exception of some higher terrain which will still
have fair recoveries. A modest warming and drying trend is expected
in the first half of next work week with a potential for drying of
smaller fuels.

...Discussion from SFOFWFEKA...

Hot and dry conditions will start to ease today with very
seasonable, calm weather through the weekend. Westerly, onshore
flow will slightly increase on Sunday, though most wind will remain
terrain influenced with gusts below 20 mph. There remains a slight
chance of thunderstorms over the Trinity Alps this afternoon (about
20% chance). Another moderate heat wave will build in early next
week with no wetting rain through the forecast.
