High pressure will build over the district beginning  Tuesday.
Building high pressure will lead to a noticeable warming and drying
trend, especially higher terrain and away from the coast. Winds will
ease, but still remain gusty and onshore for  much of the week. Hot,
dry, and gusty afternoons will lead to  elevated fire weather
conditions through at least Thursday.  Conditions improve Friday and
next weekend as high pressure  retreats.
