West central North Atlantic continental shelf and slope waters
beyond 20 nm to 250 nm offshore, including south of Georges Bank
from 1000 fm to 250 nm offshore.

Conditions given represent the highest within that period.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

The National Weather Service is accepting public comments until
July 29 2024 on a proposal to replace feet with meters when
describing seas in a variety of National Marine Center text
and graphical products for the Offshore and High Seas Areas

.SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS...A cold front will move slowly
offshore across the N waters today and tonight, reaching the
central and S waters tonight. The front will eventually stall
over or just S of the southern waters late Sat and Sat night
before dissipating on Sun. Another cold front will move E across
the N waters late Sun and Sun night then into the central and S
waters Mon and Mon night. The front will stall over the central
and S waters Mon night and Tue. Another weak cold front will pass
across the N and central waters Mon night and Tue. It will become
stationary across the S waters Tue night as weak high pressure
builds E into the central waters.

Hudson Canyon to Baltimore Canyon including the waters west of
39.3N 71.9W...SW to 37.7N 72.9W
