beyond 20 nm to 250 nm offshore, including south of Georges Bank
from 1000 fm to 250 nm offshore.

Conditions given represent the highest within that period.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

July 29 2024 on a proposal to replace feet with meters when
describing seas in a variety of National Marine Center text
and graphical products for the Offshore and High Seas Areas

.SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS...Weakening high pressure centered
along and to E of the outer waters will move SE tonight and Thu.
A warm front over the N waters will lift NE tonight and and pass
N of the area Thu. A cold front will move E and approach the
coast later Thu and move slowly offshore over the N waters Thu
night and then over the central and S waters late Fri and Fri
night and stall along or just S of the S waters Sat and Sat
night. Another cold front will move into the N waters Sun and
stall along the central and S coast Sun through Mon night.

Hudson Canyon to Baltimore Canyon including the waters west of
39.3N 71.9W...SW to 37.7N 72.9W
