.SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS...A cold front will move S over the
area this morning, then stall over the S waters later today. The
front will remain over the S waters tonight as low pressure forms
along the front off the SE coast. The low will move slowly NE
over the area Tue and Tue night while pulling a trailing cold
front E over the area. The low will pass E of the N waters Wed
and Wed night while the front stalls over the S waters. High
pressure will build over the N portion Wed into Thu, then shift E
of the region Thu night and Fri. A cold front will approach from
the NW Fri, then move offshore Fri night. The NAVTEX transmitter
in Chesapeake, Virginia is offline until further notice.
Technicians are aware of the problem and are working to have it
repaired.
