Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
233 PM MDT Tue May 28 2024

.Discussion...

Daily chances for showers and thunderstorms will continue through
the work week with thunderstorms most numerous across the southeast
plains where a few strong to severe storms will be possible through
Thursday. Hotter and drier weather will spread in over the weekend
into early next week. Gusty winds on Sunday could result in some
marginal critical fire weather conditions for fire zone 225.

Afternoon smoke dispersions will be very good to excellent across
most of the district on Wednesday and across the mountains on Thursday.
Dispersions across the plains will drop back into the good range for
Thursday.

--- thunderstorms imply strong gusty and erratic winds ---
