Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
913 PM MDT Sat May 25 2024

.Discussion...

Tonight, a weak front will push in from the north, bringing some
cooler and more moist air in. Surface winds Sunday will be
noticeably weaker compared to today. Though some spotty critical
fire weather conditions will be possible over the San Luis Valley
and areas surrounding our southeast mountains, fuels are still
largely too green to warrant any highlights. Temperatures will
warm above seasonal averages as we move into next week, but a
higher chance for showers and storms should limit fire weather
concerns for the time being.

Smoke dispersions will be poor tonight and excellent on Sunday.

--- thunderstorms imply strong gusty and erratic winds ---
