...STRONG OUTFLOW WINDS WILL MOVE ACROSS PARTS OF THE LOWER
ARKANSAS RIVER VALLEY THROUGH 400 PM MDT...

At 328 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong gusty outflow winds
across parts of the lower Arkansas River valley. These winds will
affect areas from Rocky Ford to La Junta to Las Animas.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
La Junta, North La Junta, Rocky Ford, Las Animas, Ordway, Swink,
Sugar City, Cheraw, Haswell, Higbee, Blue Lake, Timpas, and
Arlington.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM MDT for
southeastern Colorado.
