...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT EAST CENTRAL EDGECOMBE COUNTY
THROUGH 500 PM EDT...
At 434 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles east of Tarboro, moving northeast at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Tarboro, Princeville, Conetoe, and Speed.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
