...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR SOUTHERN POLK AND NORTHEASTERN
LAWRENCE COUNTIES IS CANCELLED...
The storms which prompted the warning have moved out of the warned
area. Therefore, the warning has been cancelled for Springfield and
Greene County, with the exception of far southeast corner of Greene
County.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 615 AM CDT
FOR SOUTHWESTERN WEBSTER...NORTHEASTERN CHRISTIAN AND SOUTHEASTERN
GREENE COUNTIES...
At 609 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Strafford to near Ozark, moving southeast at 45
mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Ozark, Marshfield, Rogersville, Strafford, Sparta, Highlandville,
Fordland, Oldfield, Bruner, Selmore, Northview, Christian Center,
Chadwick, Linden, and Turners.
This includes Interstate 44 between mile markers 88 and 98.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature`s leading
killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to
be struck by lightning.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
