No hazardous weather is expected at this time. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday. This week will end quite warm for us and even turn hot by Saturday with our first widespread mention of heat index values. That is what June sunshine and high humidity can quickly bring to bear, but thankfully only for the one day. Sunday will be slightly cooler as a cold front edges our way with increasing clouds. We will see showers and thunderstorms scatter up late in the day, and especially during the overnight, as the cold front moves over Oklahoma and Arkansas. On Monday this ongoing convection will get a boost of afternoon heating over deep east Texas and our Louisiana Parishes, with the potential for some heavier thunderstorms, ending by sunset. Very nice again with cooler readings in the 80s to start next work week. A weak upper low interacts with the lingering stationary front for a few showers or isolated thunderstorms possible during midweek. No widespread hazardous weather is expected at this time. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation is not expected at this time. $$ 24
