...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT DE SOTO AND NORTHWESTERN SABINE
PARISHES...SOUTHEASTERN PANOLA AND EASTERN SHELBY COUNTIES THROUGH
1045 PM CDT...

At 1009 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 10 miles east of Carthage to 7 miles northwest
of Logansport to near Joaquin to near Center to near Neuville.
Movement was east at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Center, Mansfield, Zwolle, Logansport, Joaquin, Converse, Patroon,
Neuville, Shelbyville, Oak Grove, Pleasant Hill, Huxley, South
Mansfield, Keachi, Noble, Grand Cane, Longstreet, Stanley, Keat Chie,
and Carmel.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for
northwestern Louisiana...and eastern and northeastern Texas.
