...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTH CENTRAL HEMPSTEAD...
SOUTHEASTERN SEVIER AND SOUTHEASTERN HOWARD COUNTIES THROUGH 1045 PM
CDT...

At 1015 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Ben Lomond, or near Mineral Springs, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Nashville, Mineral Springs, Lockesburg, Tollette, Ben Lomond,
Saratoga, Center Point, Oak Grove, Silver Ridge, Browntown, Bellview,
and Central.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for
southwestern Arkansas.
