...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN SCHLEICHER...
KIMBLE...SOUTHERN MENARD...SOUTHWESTERN MASON AND EASTERN SUTTON
COUNTIES THROUGH 330 AM CDT...

At 227 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
I-10 Near The Sutton-kKmble County Line, or near Roosevelt, moving
east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Junction, Mason, Telegraph, Yates Crossing, Saline, Segovia,
Streeter, Long Mountain, Grit, London, South Llano River State Park,
Roosevelt, The Intersection Of Us-83 And Ranch Road 1773, Erna, I-
10 Near The Sutton-kKmble County Line, Us-377 Near The Kimble-
Menard County Line, Cleo, Us-83 Near The Kimble-
Menard County Line, Koockville, and Us-277 Near The Sutton-
Edwards County Line.

This includes Interstate 10 between Mile Markers 412 and 477.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
office in San Angelo.
