The National Weather Service in San Angelo has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Southern Callahan County in west central Texas...
  Northwestern Brown County in west central Texas...
  Northeastern Coleman County in west central Texas...

* Until 530 PM CDT.

* At 428 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Us-283 Near
  The Coleman-Callahan County Line, or 7 miles southeast of Oplin,
  moving east at 25 mph.

  HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
           damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
           wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* This severe thunderstorm will be near...
  Cross Plains and Burkett around 450 PM CDT.
  Cross Cut around 455 PM CDT.

Other locations impacted by this severe thunderstorm include Us-
283 Near The Coleman-Callahan County Line and Lake Coleman.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for west central
Texas.
