...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT MUNICIPALITIES ACROSS INTERIOR
PUERTO RICO THROUGH 400 PM AST...

At 306 PM AST, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Rafael Capo to near Potala Pastillo.
Movement was north at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include portions of...
Ponce, Arecibo, Coamo, Jayuya, Adjuntas, Santa Isabel, Villalba,
Utuado, Orocovis, Penuelas, Juana Diaz, Coto Laurel, Los Llanos,
Guayabal, Rafael Capo, Potala Pastillo, Las Ollas, Aguilita,
Capitanejo, and Luis Llorens Torres.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
