Today, a weak disturbance approaching the area will bring increased transport winds along with showers and thunderstorms. Monday will be a transition day before high pressure settles into the area Tuesday into Thursday. Even under a more stable high pressure pattern, good surface heating and warm temperatures will bring good mixing heights to counter any decreases in transport winds.
