.THE SURF ZONE FORECAST GENERAL OUTLOOK...

Light offshore winds will lead to a low to moderate risk of rip
currents this afternoon across area beaches. Mostly sunny skies and no
chance for rain is expected this weekend. Area beaches along the
Florida Panhandle are flying a combination of red and purple flags due
to hazardous marine life. Several shark attacks have been reported
with shark sightings ongoing. Be careful when entering the water and
be aware of your surroundings.

Based on communication with area beach officials, the following flags
are flying at area beaches:

State Park Gulf Beaches.......Red
West Facing Gulf Beaches......Red
South Facing Gulf Beaches.....Yellow
