...A STRONG LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT WESTERN MADISON AND
CENTRAL BEAVERHEAD COUNTIES THROUGH 315 PM MDT...

At 242 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 14 miles west of Twin Bridges to 18 miles
northeast of Lima. Movement was northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Dillon, Dell, Beaverhead Rock State Park, and Clark Canyon.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

If on or near Clark Canyon Reservior, get out of the water and move
indoors or inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can strike out to
10 miles from the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear thunder, you
are close enough to be struck by lightning. Move to safe shelter
now! Do not be caught on the water in a thunderstorm.
