...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN OTTAWA...REPUBLIC
AND WESTERN CLOUD COUNTIES THROUGH 1145 PM CDT...

At 1104 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 4 miles northeast of Ruskin to near Jewell to 5
miles southwest of Hunter. Movement was southeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Strong wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to vegetation is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Concordia, Belleville, Glasco, Scandia, Jamestown, Courtland, Norway,
Republic, Munden, and Narka.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
